The Forgotten Fruit is a prize winning short film by Jim Williams that chronicles events surrounding the annual Egton Bridge Old Gooseberry Show.
Shot in 2011, the film documents tour love for a simple fruit – an outsider battling to keep its place in the world.
It toured the festival circuit in 2012 including opening for the Oscar-winning Searching for Sugarman at EDINDOCS and winning Best Documentary Short Film at Festivus Film Festival in Denver, Colorado.
